lack of semen causes

Aspermia is lack of semen condition during ejaculation. You may reach orgasm but can’t ejaculate semen fluid. Aspermia is a male infertility type. Aspermia is a different infertility condition from azoospermia. In azoospermia there is semen fluid but no sperm cells but aspermia means complete lack of semen fluid.

In normal conditions you should ejaculate  at least 1.5-2 mL of semen fluid at once. This is called normal semen volume in semen analysis test. Normal semen fluid contains 15-20 millions of sperm cells and this is accepted as normal sperm count for fertilisation of egg.

Aspermia has 2 main causes; retrograde ejaculation and ejaculatory duct obstruction. Also there are some conditions that may cause aspermia as listed;
